The mission of the Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau is to promote, educate, and organize the businesses which serve our residents. The Chamber consists of 350 members from every segment of the business community, and prides itself on being a strong and solid base of information and education for Hermosa Beach, its residents, and tourists to our fair city.

Mixers, Mega-Mixers and Networking Luncheons
A mixer is held each month for members to mix, mingle, and exchange information in a relaxed setting. Four times a year, mega-mixers with other local chambers are held, and you’ll have the opportunity to share information and business contacts. Each event is hosted by a member business, and the informal settings make new business contacts easy with those in adjacent cities. Our monthly networking luncheons provide attendees with an opportunity to sell their products and services to other business owners.
Your Voice at City Hall
The Chamber represents the needs and concerns of the business community to the City Administration. Just call us with your concerns and we’ll help you solve the problem or provide you with the information you need. Together, we can make business solutions for the future growth of the community.
Publicity & Exposure
There’s no better way to get your firm’s name before the business community and the public at large than through Chamber membership. We offer special advertising opportunities for our members, plus a discount advertising program in the area’s two daily newspapers. Mailing labels are provided at cost to assist members who wish to send promotional flyers and special announcements.
Networking Newsletter
News you can use is provided quarterly in our Chamber Newsletter. Members have an opportunity to publish updated information about their companies, as well as learn what the Chamber is doing to promote business and tourism. New and renewing members are listed in the bi-monthly publication.
Brochure & Information Displays
The Chamber office offers free space for member brochures, business cards, and promotional offers. Utilizing our office lobby space gives your company exposure to the dozens of visitors and new residents who visit us daily. Referrals The Chamber receives thousands of requests each year for the recommendation of goods or services in Hermosa Beach. We refer only Chamber members to newcomers, visitors, and residents who visit our website, telephone, stop by, or write to us for information.
Chamber Directory and Visitors Guide Directory
The directory provides a complete listing of all our member businesses. It is mailed to all members, delivered directly to our residents, and provided free in guest rooms at all member hotels. Visitors who want recommendations on where to get a good haircut, where to rent skates or a bicycle, and which stores carry souvenirs, can find all the information they need. As well, the directory serves as a useful source of services and restaurants for residents, who receive a free copy or can obtain an extra copy from the Chamber offices.
Chamber Office Information Center
We serve as the city’s business information center. Our office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays to greet newcomers, visitors, and potential new businesses. We answer questions about shopping, employers, housing, schools, recreational activities, and other community activities in Hermosa Beach. We also offer notary services at the Chamber office.
